Dionne Parris is a 2nd year PhD only student in the Sociology department at Georgia State University with concentrations in Race and Gender. She holds two BAs, (Sociology and Africana Studies) and a Masters in Sociology. Some of her other research interests include wealth inequality, power, sociology of education, sociology of sport and social psychology. Her future work will examine the intersection between race, gender, and wealth inequality in higher education.
