I was a program manager of Rural Development Group in Cameroon, and I worked as the assistant to UNESCO Region Advisor, UNESCO Africa Regional Office based in Senegal.

At Georgia State University (Gerontology Institute) I completed an MA in Gerontology. My MA thesis is on home modifications and aging in place. Currently, I am in the PhD-only Program in the Department of Sociology.

My research interests include health disparities and their impact over the life course. I am also interested in issues involving older adults and what influences their decisions to age in place
