M.A. in Sociology
The Department of Sociology at Georgia State University offers a unique master’s degree program designed to train students to become research leaders in applied sociology, or non-profit and governmental programs. It highlights methods and data analysis while offering theoretical training in one or more areas of choice.
Qualified students are accepted into the M.A. Program after completing a baccalaureate degree. Students should enroll in the data analytic tract M.A. Program if they are interested in a terminal, professional degree designed to qualify them for work in research, non-profit organizations, or other social service analysis or decision making field.
